Maria Walter Nielsen is a Danish, Milan-based illustrator, designer and artist offering creative direction and consultancy within fashion and interior. 

With 15+ years in the fashion industry Maria has led creative visions and designed prints and patterns for numerous commercial and luxury brands.

In 2019 she opened her own studio designing for a portfolio of Italian and international brands while working on her own design projects and art exhibitions. 

In her works there is a tactile sensibility, brought through by profound research and love and respect for materials and colours.

Maria has an unparalleled ability to dig into the core of a project and understand and respect a client's identity while adding her innovative ideas to generate a creative result and a fresh perspective.

Maria teaches print design and facilitates creative workshops across Italy and abroad.
